An adult and two teenagers were taken to the hospital from a west Douglas County home on suspicion of carbon-monoxide poisoning.
Ron Hanavan, a spokesman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, said that authorities received a call from a resident of the home in the 1700 block of Macom Drive at about 8:30 a.m. The caller said the home’s occupants were feeling ill.
A utility company was called to determine the origin of the problem, said Hanavan.
