Getting your player ready...
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado College goaltender Richard Bachman and the Dallas Stars agreed to a three-year contract Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Stars drafted Bachman in the fourth round, 120th overall, in 2006.
Bachman had a standout freshman season for Colorado College, with a 1.85 goals-allowed average and a .931 save percentage. He also was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association player of the year and rookie of the year.
Bachman says leaving Colorado College was a “really tough decision” but the timing was right.
