
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s new permanent installation, “Expedition Health,” takes visitors on a trek through their own bodies. Via a virtual trip up Mount Evans, you can trace the progress of a granola bar through the digestive system, measure your heart’s electrical current and view your own epithelial cells under a microscope. Interested in biology and health? The museum is looking for volunteers; go to -health and click on “Volunteering” to learn more. “Expedition Health” opens Saturday. Admission is included in a general-admission museum ticket, but you must reserve a timed ticket. Adult admission is $11, and $6 for ages 13-18 and seniors.
