COLORADO SPRINGS — More than 20 companies and academic institutions will participate in the Space Career Fair on Thursday during the National Space Symposium at The Broadmoor.
According to the Space Report 2009, released by the nonprofit Space Foundation as part of this week’s symposium, the outlook for space and aeronautics employment is stronger than in many areas of the economy.
The fair is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to college students and military personnel with degrees or experience in technology, engineering, math or business administration.
The fair will offer information about career possibilities, industry trends and pending workforce needs.
Though the online registration period has ended, registration is open at the fair starting at 7:30 a.m. All attendees must present student or military identification. Ann Schrader, The Denver Post
