First there were the Hanson Brothers. Now there’s the Hanson son. Christian Hanson, whose father, Dave, was part of the Hanson Brothers’ trio that starred in “Slap Shot,” signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Hanson had 16 goals and 15 assists for Notre Dame this season before Saturday’s loss to Bemidji State in the NCAA Tournament. “They told me I would be playing on Friday against the Flyers,” Hanson said. “It is definitely something that I’ve always dreamed about.” It is unclear whether Christian Hanson will wrap his fists with tinfoil before the game.
