Trevor Noonan, one of seven freshman on the Air Force men’s basketball team last season, is leaving the academy.
The 6-foot-9 forward out of Legacy High in Broomfield played in 25 games (averaging 9.6 minutes) and averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds.
Noonan was not available for comment, pending his official release from Air Force. An Air Force spokesperson indicated Noonan decided he didn’t fit well into the military life at the academy.
Noonan was on the University of Denver’s recruiting list before he decided to go to Air Force.
