Every kid from Colorado who goes on to college football doesn’t have to star at Florida or Southern Cal. There are many places and opportunities, and four in-staters have been named to the third annual College Fanz/Victory Sports Network NAIA Senior Classic, to be contested April 25 at Platte County R3 High School’s Pirate Stadium in Platte City, Mo. Included former Colorado prep players: Mike Deavours (Mountain View in Loveland), DE/OLB, Mid-America Nazarene; John Duff (Mullen), OL-TE, Nebraska Wesleyan; Tyler Green (Ranum), SS/OLB, Mayville (N.D.) State; and Billy Sonnemaker (Smoky Hill), OL, Midland Lutheran in Fremont, Neb.
