FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins police say an officer suffered facial cuts during SWAT training, but his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Police spokesman Al Brown says the accident occurred Tuesday at a firearms training site while a SWAT team was practicing entering buildings. He was hurt when debris from a doorway fell and hit him in the head.

The officer was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. His name hasn’t been released.
