The Rocky Mountain Resource Fair will provide unemployed people in the metro Denver area with resources to help them during tough economic times while searching for a job.
The fair is at the Denver Merchandise Mart on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 451 East 58th Avenue on the north side of the building. The venue is on RTD routes 7 and 8, and parking is free.
The Department of Labor and Employment along with the Broomfield and Jefferson County Colorado Workforce Centers are sponsoring the event.
Attendees will receive free assistance with resumes and interviews, plus workshops for budget planning and job-search strategies, and information from 50 community, state and local organizations.
