When spring cleaning your closet, look for business-appropriate suits, separates and accessories that you can donate to Dress for Success. The group provides professional attire, networking and career development to disadvantaged women in Denver and accepts clothing at its headquarters, 1510 High St., the second Saturday of each month (because of Easter weekend, the donation day for this month is the third Saturday, April 18). Dress for Success also accepts monetary donations. At a breakfast at the Hotel Monaco last week, McDonald’s regional head announced the company will match contributions of $100 or more, up to $5,000. Cody Teets, vice president and general manager of McDonald’s Rocky Mountain region, says her company’s Women’s Business Leaders Network supports Dress for Success because “It’s all about building confidence and giving women the opportunities and support they need.” Find more about the program at or call 303-832-1889.
