Check out Cafe Hayek, a blog that offers a counterpoint to Krugman’s positions. “Paul Krugman criticizes the anti-tax tea parties (that were) held around the country on Wednesday. . . . But is it really so absurd for ordinary Americans to be furious that Uncle Sam now promises to run up $9.3 trillion in debt during the next decade — an unfathomable sum that will inevitably lead to much higher taxes or higher inflation or both?”
Cafehayek.com is run by two George Mason University economists: Donald Boudreaux, chairman of the economics department and former president of libertarian think tank Foundation for Economic Education; and Russell Roberts, professor of economics and a student of Milton Friedman’s. Roberts also is former director of the Center for Experiential Learning at Washington University.
