FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Larimer County authorities are investigating the discovery of a charred body near a burned-out vehicle.
A newspaper carrier found the vehicle on fire near county roads 2 and 21 at about 3:40 a.m. Friday.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Eloise Campanella says fire and medical personnel found a body near the vehicle when they arrived on the scene.
An autopsy is planned later today. No name has been released.
Campanella says investigators consider the incident suspicious.
No other details were immediately available.
