Colorado State officials canceled spring game activities and the coaching staff will decide Saturday morning whether to hold a regular practice.
Friday’s snow storm prompted the department to scrap auxiliary events, including the annual pancake breakfast. Although wet bleachers and aisles at the stadium could present safety hazards for fans, artificial surfaces at the stadium and school practice facility can be cleared of snow.
CSU has completed 13 of the NCAA’s 15 permitted spring practices. If the Rams can get out Saturday or Sunday, the final practice will likely be held Monday.
Bad weather also bumped the softball game against New Mexico to Sunday.
