LARIMER COUNTY — Firefighters responding to a car fire early Friday morning in Larimer County found a body near the vehicle.
The incident happened about 3:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of County Road 2, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was identified as Thomas Kalvig, 36, of Longmont. The Larimer County coroner’s office conducted an autopsy, but the cause of death awaits toxicology tests. The “suspicious” incident is under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
