Getting your player ready...

Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta, despite an .048 batting average entering Sunday’s game, said his swing wasn’t that far out of whack. He proved it with a long solo home run in the sixth. Still, he has just two hits this season — the opening-day homer at Arizona and Sunday’s blast to left.

Homer Street.

Deposed closer Huston Street, in the game late to get needed work, gave up a solo home run to the Dodgers’ Matt Kemp in the eighth. It was the third home run allowed by Street in just 4 2/3 innings. Last year he gave up six homers in 70 innings.

Heaven for Hawpe.

Brad Hawpe thrives at Dodger Stadium. A career .341 hitter at Chavez Ravine, he went 4-for-9 against the Dodgers in three games and banged his second homer of the season Sunday. It was his 18th career home run against Los Angeles, twice as many as he has hit against any other team. He has hit nine against the Diamondbacks, who rank second on the list.
