Today’s weather is considerably brighter than what the metro area saw yesterday, and the forecast calls for continued improvement throughout the week.
The National Weather Service predicts a high today of 53 degrees with sunny skies — quite a bit warmer than Saturday’s recorded high temperature in Denver of 40 degrees.
Tonight the thermometer drops to 33 degrees under party cloudy skies.
For Monday the forecast is for more sun and a high of 61 degrees, with a low near 41 degrees at night.
The normal temperature in Denver for this time in April is 62 degrees, and the rest of the week is expected to well exceed the norm.
The forecast is for 74 degrees on Tuesday, 76 on Wednesday and 77 by Thursday. Lows at night will drop into the 40s, the Weather Service predicts.
