Catching for kids.
The first annual “Catching for CASA” fishing tournament will be held May 16 at John Martin Reservoir to benefit a Court Appointed Special Advocates program that provides training for volunteers on behalf of abused and neglected children. Getting youth outdoors.
The second annual Outdoor Heritage Day, a free event designed to get youth and families involved in the outdoors, will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Riverbend Park in Palisade.
