Cinco de Mayo
Northern Colorado’s 25th Cinco de Mayo Celebration will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at the Island Grove Event Center, 521 15th Ave., Greeley. There will be live entertainment, numerous children’s activities, a culinary area, mercado booths, a 4-H bike workshop/repair, a three-on-three basketball tournament, Northern Colorado Soccer Club Tournament and more. Wine festival
The sixth annual Montrose Wine Festival will be May 15-16 at the Montrose Holiday Inn Express, 1391 S. Townsend Ave. There will be a Grand Tasting at 6:30 p.m. May 15. Tickets may be purchase for $35 at Corks Fine Wine and Spirits, Canyon Creek Bed and Breakfast, Coffee Trader, the Holiday Inn Express and the Montrose Chamber of Commerce. The Reserve Tasting will be at 4:30 p.m. May 16 and will be followed by a Reserve dinner. Sponsorships for the Reserve events can be obtained by calling 970-252-0800.
