GOLDEN — A custom home built for the Coors family is being put up for auction today with an opening bid of $1.25 million. The five-bedroom, six-bath home was once valued at more than $4 million.
The auction company says entertainment spaces are featured throughout the 8,676-square-foot home. The front of the house is virtually all windows and offers panoramic views.
Potential buyers need to register and bring $50,000 in the form of a certified check. The winning bidder needs to be prepared to deposit 10 percent, and the buyer’s premium of 8 percent will be tacked on to the final price.
