A 22-year-old woman, who police say shot her boyfriend during an argument, is being held for investigation of first-degree murder.

According to Denver police, they responded Friday to a home in the 2900 block of Pontiac Street on reports of a shooting.

There, they found the victim, whose identity has not been released, dead of a shotgun wound to the head.

The shooting was the result of an argument between the victim and his girlfriend, according to investigators.

The girlfriend, identified as Tatianna Manon-Davis, was still at the scene and was hysterical and hyperventilating, according to police.

She was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment and is being held for investigation of homicide.
