The Colorado Commission on Aging is throwing a birthday celebration May 8 for seniors who have lived to 100 and beyond.

Rocky Mountain centenarians are invited to the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, 4005 Kipling St., to enjoy a continental breakfast and entertainment. They will also be honored with a certificate signed by Gov. Bill Ritter.

Attendees must call Jamie Malone at 303-866-2663 or e-mail jamie.malone@state.co.us. The deadline to RSVP is Thursday.
