COLORADO SPRINGS — Two men have been arrested and charged with murder in the February fatal shooting of a man found in a Colorado Springs garage.
The suspects are Dayjon Anderson, 19, and Frankie Craighead, 27, both of Colorado Springs.
Police said they were called by a woman to a home in the 4800 block of Wineskin Circle at 8:48 p.m. Feb. 21.
The woman reported that she had found her front door broken open. Inside, officers discovered the body of the 28-year-old Dametrius Tillman, who had been shot in the chest.
Both Anderson and Craighead were arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder.
Anderson already was incarcerated at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on unrelated charges. Craighead was taken into custody without incident at the home of a relative.
