A robbery suspect was arrested by Denver police this morning after taken an undisclosed amount of money from a downtown bank.
Chad Lee, 40, was detained at Colfax and Esplanade shortly after a robbery at the First National Bank of Colorado at 515 17th Street around 9:40 a.m.
Authorities say they recovered the stolen money in Lee’s red Dodge Truck, which was spotted fleeing the bank.
Two additional suspects originally sought by police were later determined to be witnesses.
