Getting your player ready...

Coors Field fans still do the “Tu-lo” chant when Troy Tulowitzki comes to the plate. The shortstop responded by breaking out of his slump Friday night with a solo, line-drive homer to left in the first. For an encore, he powered a ball to the gap in left-center for a double in the third, driving in Seth Smith.

Still streaking.

Todd Helton extended his hitting streak to 11 games, lining a single to left in the first inning. It’s the longest streak by a Rockie this season. For the record, Helton has 22 streaks of 10 games or more. His longest was a 17-game streak from June 15 to July 2, 2003.
