COLORADO SPRINGS — Two men have been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the disappearance of a disabled man who went missing in January, police announced Saturday.

A body suspected to be that of Jason Holley, 22, was found Friday in a ravine in Cheyenne Canyon, west of Colorado Springs. Positive identification has not been made, and autopsy results are pending, police said.

Kyle Stott, 18, and Derek Hernandez, 21, were held without bond at El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. They are scheduled to appear in court Monday, according to jail records.

One suspect led police to the body, said Dale Kelley, a California-based private investigator who has worked with local investigators on the case.

Holley, who has been missing since Jan. 5, had a rare disorder that left him with the mental capacity of a 13-year-old. He was studying to be a mechanic.

Kelley’s theory is that Holley was killed over an Xbox game console he owned.

It is the 11th homicide in the city this year.

Police said Friday that a body was found near Mount Cutler Trail off North Cheyenne Canyon Road.

Holley’s family said he suffered from Klinefelter syndrome.

Around the time of his disappearance, family members described him as shy, mild-mannered and somewhat immature with a slight hand tremor.
