What is the speed of buzz? It depends who is involved.

When the buzz surrounds Jack White, let’s call it light speed. When music started spreading a few months back, it spread quick. It helped, too, that Kills singer/spazoid Alison Mosshart is fronting White’s new band.

The band announced a U.S. tour this morning, including a Denver stop on Aug. 17 at the . The group will be touring in support of its debut, “Horehound,” due out on White’s Third Man Records (a Warner Bros’ imprint) on July 14. Limited pre-sale tickets will be available at thedeadweather.com at 10 a.m. (MST) Wednesday, according to a release from the band.

It could be a great show, so long as Mosshart doesn’t have a show like .
