According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, video replays may be used to determine the final outcome of basketball games in the 2009-10 season. A replay monitor to review field-goal attempts at the expiration of time in the fourth quarter or any overtime period may be employed. Michigan, Ohio and South Carolina had heated reaction to such games the past season, but don’t look for Colorado to rush to the nearest Best Buy and stock up on equipment. “It’s something our committee would want to talk about,” Colorado High School Activities Association assistant commissioner Bert Borgmann said. “But our general position has been that officials have been hired to make calls at the end of games, and we need to honor that requirement of them.”
