Studio 23 isn’t a trendy LoDo art gallery, but the number for Franky Scaglione’s classroom at Wheat Ridge High School. In that room, the teacher works with 23 advanced painters each year to create looks for the Fresh 23 fashion show. To be held Monday at the school auditorium, the show will feature the work of artists who have worked in groups to create sneaker art on shoes donated by Vans. 9505 W. 32nd Ave., Wheat Ridge. Tickets to the show are $4 for students and $6 for adults. Doors open at 6 p.m. for live music and refreshments; the show begins just before 7 with a short documentary preview; reception with display of the shoes follows the show.
