A woman died Friday afternoon after a collision with a school bus on South Wadsworth Boulevard.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, a school bus carrying three children was southbound on Wads- worth approaching the intersection of West Brook Drive about 4 p.m.

A Chevrolet Monte Carlo traveling east on Brook entered the school bus’ path from a stop sign and the bus struck the driver’s side of the Monte Carlo.

According to the State Patrol, the three children were uninjured. The bus driver sustained minor injuries.

The female driver of the Monte Carlo was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.

Identities of the drivers were not released pending notification of family.
