DENVER—Cheyenne Mountain rallied from five runs down in the sixth inning to beat Mountain View 9-8 for the Class 4A baseball championship Saturday.

With Cheyenne Mountain down 8-7 in the seventh inning, Nick Schoon got on first after the plate umpire reversed a called out, ruling on appeal that Mountain View’s first baseman Matt Miller pulled his foot off the base.

Schoon scored on a Sean Jergensen RBI single, and a fly ball by Scott Bowman was dropped, allowing Jack Lucero to score the winning run.
