A storm that dumped as much as a third of an inch of rain overnight will not bring any more moisture to the Denver area, forecasters say.

“We’re not going to get any more today,” said Jim Kalina, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder.

There is a slight chance of rain projected for the mountains today, Kalina said.

Temperatures are expected to warm up fast over the weekend, starting with a high in the 60s today, but rising to the 80s by Sunday.

By Tuesday, temperatures will rise to the mid-80s, Kalina said.

The next chance for rain is expected for Wednesday and Thursday.

Some areas of the metro area got up to a third of an inch of rain, but Denver International Airport got only a trace.
