Authorities are looking for a motorcycle rider they believe robbed and attempted to sexually assault two women on Saturday — the third such incident in two months.
The women were driving at Stove Prairie Road and Poudre Canyon Highway in Larimer County at about 6 p.m. when they pulled on to the shoulder to let a man riding a black motorcycle behind them pass.
“He pulled up next to them,” and began talking to them, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Don Nadow said.
The man, who was described as white and dressed in black leather, pulled a gun and demanded their purses. He then attempted to sexually assault them, Nadow said.
The women escaped and drove to the Fort Collins Police Services building.
Loveland police have received two reports of similar incidents involving a suspect matching the man’s description in the past two months.
Anyone with information should call either the Larimer County Sheriff’s Officer or Loveland Police Department.
