COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Police are looking for a suspect who stole prescription drugs from a Colorado Springs pharmacy over the weekend.
Authorities say a man walked into a Walgreens in the 2900 block of North Nevada Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday and handed a note to an employee at the counter demanding prescription drugs.
The man then left with an undisclosed amount of unnamed generic drugs in small white containers. Police brought in K9 units to search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
Police describe the suspect as a white male in his early 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, 180 pounds and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing an olive green beanie cap, a green camouflage thermal shirt and black pants.
