LINCOLN, Neb.—The Big 12 Conference has named Nebraska’s Gary Pepin its coach of the year for men’s indoor track and field.
It’s the fifth time Pepin has received the honor since 1998. He’s also been honored eight times as men’s indoor coach, five times as women’s indoor coach and twice as women’s outdoor coach.
Pepin is in his 29th year at Nebraska. He’s led the Cornhuskers to 65 conference titles, including 44 Big Eight championships and 21 Big 12 Conference team titles, the most by any coach in the conference.
