Former University of Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons announced he will transfer to Colorado, according to the Boulder Camera and Internet recruiting sites.
Clemons, who picked Colorado over Cincinnati, must sit out the 2009 season under NCAA transfer rules and then will have two seasons of eligibility at CU.
A former blue-chip prospect from the Pittsburgh area, Clemons (6-feet-3, 203 pounds) had been recruited by the Buffaloes before signing with Michigan in 2007.

AFA dismisses four baseball players.
Four players were cut from the Air Force baseball team, which finished its season last weekend.
Junior pitcher Nick Batey, sophomore pitchers Matt Barattino and Brad Pingel and sophomore catcher Parker Mayo were dismissed from the team.
Their dismissals — combined with the in-season departures of sophomore Vai Schierholtz and junior Daniel Walker, a pair of former starters — continue a trend of significant roster turnover under coach Mike Hutcheon, who just completed his sixth season.
Air Force athletic director Hans Mueh declined comment and advised Hutcheon not to comment for this story. Jake Schaller, Colorado Springs Gazette
