AURORA — Aurora police have caught one of two suspects in connection with a homicide that left a man dead in the street Sunday.
Harrel Gene Keeling Jr., 33, was arrested late Friday and was being held without bond at the Aurora Detention Center, Detective Robert Friel announced.
Police were still looking for Leland Peter Richardson, 33. Both are suspected in the killing of Miguel Angel Chavez, 24, in the 1600 block of South Ouray Street.
Police said Richardson is a 5-foot-10 black male who weighs 230 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
