Gilpin County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man suspected in the shooting of a woman in Adams County this morning.
Eric Boney was arrested in connection with the shooting of a woman in the 2200 block of West 57th Place, according to a news release by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities have not revealed the identity of the victim, who was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, the release said.
Sheriff deputies responded to a radio call at 10:40 a.m. and found the wounded woman.
Boney has been booked into the Adams County Detention Facility for investigation of criminal attempt second degree murder, first degree assault and domestic violence. He will be held on $40,000 bond until a court appearance Tuesday.
