LOS ANGELES — Sean Penn has withdrawn a petition to separate from his wife of 13 years, actress Robin Wright Penn. The Oscar-winning actor was granted a dismissal Tuesday of his request for a legal separation.
Penn filed for the split in Marin County, Calif., last month, but records show he moved to dismiss that filing. He told the New York Daily News it was “an arrogant mistake.” The pair have had a rocky relationship. They filed for divorce in December 2007 but dismissed the petition months later.
