BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.—About 30 airmen assigned to the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard have deployed to support operations in Iraq.
They left Buckley Air Force Base on Sunday morning. They will be protecting personnel and assets for the next six months.
It is the seventh deployment of the 140th Wing during the past six years in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
