UNDATED—At Offutt Air Force Base south of Omaha, a two-star general spoke of paying homage to the nation’s veterans. In McCook, a 92-year-old man turned out in the uniform he wore in between flights as the pilot of a B-17 bomber over Europe. Across the state on Memorial Day, Nebraskans gathered to honor the men and women who sacrificed to maintain the nation’s freedoms.

OMAHA—The Nebraska Supreme Court is being asked to decide whether a 2004 law aimed at sexual predators who use the Internet to lure children is constitutional. The high court will hear arguments Friday in a case involving Todd Rung of Lincoln, who was sentenced last year in Lancaster County District Court to one-to-two years in prison for using a computer to try to entice a child to have sex with him.
