NEW YORK — An explosion early Monday on Manhattan’s Upper East Side caused by a small bomb possibly made from fireworks, destroyed a sidewalk bench and shattered windows at a Starbucks coffee shop. No one was hurt in the 3:30 a.m. blast. Investigators were looking into the similarities between the explosion and others in the city over the past four years.
