CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—Douglas County deputies have arrested a man on child-sex charges after a sting prompted by a posting on Craigslist.
Deputies said Wednesday the man was jailed on suspicion of Internet sexual exploitation of a child and Internet luring of a child.
Authorities say a detective posing as an underage girl exchanged Internet messages with a man who wrote a Craigslist posting that said, “Older guy looking for a young teen girl-28.”
Deputies say they arrested 28-year-old Boris Jan De Lemos of Littleton at a location where the purported girl was supposed to be waiting.
De Lemos is being held in the Douglas County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
No phone listing could be found for De Lemos and it was unclear if he had an attorney.
