MILLENNIUM HOTELS AND RESORTS: Announced that Sam Gonsalves has accepted the controller position for Millennium Harvest House Boulder. Gonsalves most recently was assistant controller for the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago.

ALLSTATE INSURANCE CO.: Promoted Christopher Lovest to field vice president for the company’s west central region, which is based in Denver. Lovest was previously the region’s assistant field vice president.

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE: Dr. Mark Deutchman, a professor in the department of family medicine, has been named recipient of the 2009 Osage Orange Distinguished Physician Walking Stick Award. Deutchman was cited for his work running the medical school’s Rural Track program, which increases the number of physicians practicing in underserved rural areas across Colorado and the United States.

ISAACSON ROSENBAUM PC: Elected Lonny Donovan chief executive. Donovan replaces Jon Steeler, who will return to his practice within the firm.

COLORADO COMMISSION ON AGING: Elected Maureen Robinson, owner of Comfort Keepers, as chair for 2009-10.

METRO BROKERS INC.: Welcomed Patricia Escamilla to the One World Realty offices as a member.

ASSISTED LIVING FEDERATION OF AMERICA: Cited Laura Landwirth, executive director of the Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, with the Award for Excellence for her advocacy efforts at the Colorado state legislature on behalf of Colorado’s assisted-living residents and providers.
