ARINC, which provides airline-employee screening support to the Transportation Security Administration, will begin enrolling airline pilots in the program using fingerprint biometrics June 9.
Electronic fingerprints will be stored in a database, and each enrollee will be asked a few questions to validate his or her identity.
ARINC is talking with airlines about enrolling flight attendants.
