Getting your player ready...
DENVER—The Denver Nuggets will have to beat the Los Angeles Lakers twice in 48 hours if they want to make it to the NBA Finals for the first time in team history.
The task is a daunting one, considering the Lakers have not lost two games in a row since March.
Nuggets point guard Chauncey Billups says he believes Denver has outplayed the Lakers for most of the series but they haven’t gotten over the hump in the fourth quarter in some situations.
The Lakers are trying to make it to their 30th Finals appearance and the Nuggets are one game away from elimination.
Game 6 is tomorrow night in Denver.
