Bryan Peters of Rocky Mountain High School has another award from Gatorade to add to his trophy case. On Thursday, he was named the Colorado baseball player of the year, adding to the football player of the year honor he received from Gatorade last fall.

The senior pitcher/infielder went 7-0 with a 3.19 ERA and hit .422 with nine homers and 30 RBIs in leading the Lobos to their third straight Class 5A state title.

CSU wins club baseball title.

Bobby Moller gave up three hits and struck out 11 in seven innings and was named tournament MVP after leading Colorado State to its fifth National Club Baseball Association Championship with a 3-1 win over Arizona in Fort Myers, Fla. Hunter Heggarty’s two-run home run in the second inning was all the support Moller needed.
