Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, right is making a federal case out of turnovers at the team’s offseason minicamps. And frankly, who can blame him?
At the risk of telling you something you already knew, the Broncos forced a league-low 13 turnovers in 2008. Now for something you may not have known: The Broncos finished minus-17 in turnovers, making them the only team in the AFC West to finish in the red.
It seems impossible, but the Chiefs finished plus-5, just ahead of the Chargers at plus-4. And, yes, even the Performers Formerly Known as the Raiders finished in the black at plus-1.
