A 32-year-old Rifle woman has been arrested for allegedly distributing methamphetamine in the Rifle area.
Danielle Marie Trujillo is charged with multiple counts of possession and distribution of methamphetamine.
An investigation of Trujillo began in March after the drug task force consisting of the Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Carbondale and Vail police departments received word of meth trafficking in the region.
Agents for the task force, which goes by the name Trident, made two purchases of meth from Trujillo prior to her arrest, according to the task force.
Trujillo is charged with eight drug counts.
She is being held in the Garfield County Jail. Her bail was set at $175,000.
