FORT COLLINS — Colorado State University will interview three finalists to be chief of the school’s Police Department.

Former Chief Dexter Yarbrough was suspended pending a personnel investigation and faced allegations that he condoned illegal activity. He resigned March 6.

The finalists to replace him are Joe Pittman, chief of police at the University of Alaska-Anchorage; Wendy Rich-Goldschmidt, chief of police at the University of Northern Colorado; and Jerry Schiager, a commander with the Fort Collins Police Department.
