Also announced this week: Thievery Corporation, Pepper, Jack’s Mannequin, Matt Nathanson and Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real. Blue October rarely strays from Denver too long, as evidenced by its upcoming July 27 show at the Fillmore, less than four months after the group’s Ogden Theatre show in April. Passes for the concert with Switchfoot and Longwave are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($32.50, )

Tesla initially fared better than its hair metal brethren when it went bust after the late ’80s/early ’90s commercial boom. Now the soft-voiced hard rockers are returning to the Ogden on Sept. 12, a little less than two years after the last stop here. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today ($35, Ticketmaster)

Ratt and Extreme are another pair of coiffed ’80s leftovers making their next Colorado stand at the Ogden on July 22. We’re starting to wonder what year this is. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($29.75, Ticketmaster)

3 Doors Down is more than a year past the release of its most recent, self-titled album, but that isn’t stopping the Mississippi-bred act from touring, including a date at the Fillmore on July 16 with SafetySuit and Parachute. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($45, )
